BECOMING MISS RIGHT PART 1

One of the reasons

marriages fail is because too many women have a lot of expectations from their husbands. They expect so much from him that it often scares them, makes them withdraw and ultimately the either run or become so passive.These mostly false and unrealistic expectations are imports from the single days.
Truth is this if you don't get it right while you're yet single, the rippled effect will be found in your marriage.Infact too many singles spend their lives drooling over what they want their "prince charming" to look like that they totally neglect an important part of that equation. " Themselves"
You might have heared the phrase that " He who fails to PREPARE, PREPARES to fail" OR
" Luck is when PREPARATION meets opportunity"
The key word here is PREPARATION. There's no way in the world you can succeed at something you know little or nothing about and you're not in anyway prepared for.
To get Mr. Right, you must be Miss Right and that requires a lot of work.
Firstly,to be found by a life partner that is God's will for you, you must be in the centre of that will. You cannot be found by Mr Right if all you is immerse yourself in is false realities created by hollywood. Matt 6:33 saying of seeking God's kingdom first and all other things would be added is true even when you're waiting to be found. If you commit yourself first to God's service, offer your self in service to the things of the Kingdom, God is committed to bringing the right man across you path.

The point I'm trying to make here is that you need to discover your identity in God first ; he is the only one who can mould you into the right woman.
Learning to make God your no one as a single lady will teach you to depend on him as the primary source to meeting all your needs.
There's something peculiar about a lady working in the will of God. God puts finishing touches to the works in progress in your life, beautifies your flaws and presents you as a vessel unto honour.I'm not talking about the see-me services people do in church. I'm talking about having a genuine heart for God. There's no lady who walked in the centre of his will that was not elevated. Esther did so and found herself in the palace, Ruth did so and ended up in the lineage of grace (Christ).
Asides being in the centre of the will, now is the time to start praying for that future partner of yours. There are so many wives who are failing in the place of prayer and most times I can hardly blame them because you can't give what you don't have. Cultivate early the art of praying for your husband. If you want a thread to weave through your life and marriage, if you want a godly prince to hold you in his arms and love you with his heart, then start praying for your future husband to be all that God wants him to be and to find you in good time.
Marrying the right person is critical to the success of the remainder of your life. Don't start without God in the equation.
